RETIRED PROFESSIONAL seeks classy lady for discreet arrangement

This is a true Texas murder closed case. Take heed.
This fella decided to place an ad which ran for 5 days stating; "RETIRED  PROFESSIONAL seeks classy lady for discreet arrangement". Within a few short days a lady responded with a 3 page letter and a discreet arrangement was made. The "classy lady" was at his residence on more than one occasion. The 66 year old retired, white, gent and the 40 year old, classy lady were at his residence in the small, but very popular city in Texas, on the faithful night. I am certain the retired gentleman was quite astonished when his classy lady, began stabbing him! The classy lady discreetly divulges that her retired gentleman became violent and forced himself on her. (One has to wonder why indeed was she there? I digress.) Yes, she relays in her story that the gentleman forced himself on her and WITHOUT A CONDOM! So taking her weapon of choice, the classy lady stabbed the retired gentleman most indiscreetly, not once or even twice but wary reader, she stabbed him 50 times! 

Immediately the Lady Of Class left the scene in the gentleman's car (post haste) and went to Austin, Texas. There the  L.O.C.  used the now very retired gentleman's credit cards, and got a motel room. When the police found her she refused to leave her motel room so they forced the issue. Tear gas had to be used. The Lady Of Class  was arrested and transported to a County Jail, where she was unable to post a rather large bond. When the classy lady was asked," Why did you do it? She answered, "I WAS OFF MY MEDS, I'M BI POLAR, HE WAS THE STRAW THAT BROKE THE CAMELS BACK WITH ASSAULTIVE MEN."

Must have been quite a persuasive letter.

DPS report would have quickly told the story for him.

--1 confinement New Newport, Virginia, Juvenile Detention Center for Credit Card Abuse 
  (released to a Halfway House for Children, confined 2 weeks and released to parent), 
--5 days Gillespie County Jail for Possession Marijuana (1/2 cigarette, time served, 
--100 days Hays County Jail for DWI (time served)
--1 confinement Travis County Jail for Assault Causing Bodily Injury 
   (claims self-defense and hit white male boyfriend, dismissed)
--1 confinement Gillespie County Jail for Burglary of a Habitation (dismissed)
--1 confinement Gillespie County Jail for Theft $50-$500 (time served)
--1 confinement San Anna, California Jail for Fugitive From Justice (dismissed)
--2 year adult probation Travis County, 1xx6 for Theft by Check $20-$500 (possible DETAINER)
--2 year adult probated sentence Llano County, 1xx7 for DWI (possible DETAINER)
--X/Arc, Austin, Texas on a voluntary commitment for DRUG and ALCOHOL treatment, confined 31 days and   
   completed in xxx3
--X/Serenity House, Abilene, Texas on a voluntary commitment for DRUG and ALCOHOL treatment, confined 
  31 days and completed in  xxx7
--X/Austin Family House, Austin, Texas on a voluntary commitment for DRUG treatment, confined 9 months  
   and left against medical advice in xxx7--

--Presently incarcerated in the Texas Prison System. For a lifetime.

Sadly, it is evident this person struggled with a serious drug problem. It is obvious this problem dictated and drove her decisions. I would to God that something would be discovered. Some shot in the arm that would totally change the life pattern of the drug user and alcoholic.  This is one of the most destructive things in our society today. 

Sometimes I just get angry

LIKE NOW!! First thing this morning I learn that an offender who is in TDCJ-CID had previously committed INDECENCY WITH A CHILD against a 12 year old female and the sentence rather than be cumulative is set as concurrent to be served at the same time as his 2 THEFT sentences already being served together, which are for 10 years each.  Tally that and he is still serving 10 years. If he already was sentenced to 10 years how is he now also serving 10 years time for the horrific crime against this child.   I think this is disgusting! The subject is clearly not serving time for this offense. What a nice judge. Really?

Thought: If they made it a law that all sexual assaults against a child, elderly, disabled, or mentally handicapped person would be served flat it could deter the commitment of this crime. Once that was common knowledge these predators would know they would do the time for the crime. No getting off SCOTT FREE. Add a caning to that as well using the offenders IQ to determine how many lashes they get and society would see less of sexual offenses against the HELPLESS! Something must be done. 

AGGRAVATED SEXUAL ASSAULT CHILD/INDECENCY WITH CHILD

The terrible details that are included in this report and many like it are too horrific to post. They tell of a child's constant fear in her home and  the oblivia of her mother (made up that word) to what the step father is inflicting on the victim and the child's suffering. The pain, physical and emotional continues, over and over again until the child is a young adult and makes an outcry and when this step father leaves the picture. So often the perpetrator is even a member of the immediate family, a biological father, a grandfather, a brother, an uncle. My God. How do people become so freaking disconnected from their children to not notice something terrible is happening to them? Maybe they NEVER connect with them.

Too busy with things of great importance? What could be more important than your child's well being? Whether or not college is paid for when the time comes? Upgraded to a finer home? A finer automobile? Your career fulfillment?  For the  sake of the child entrusted  in your care, always be in the middle of their life. Always take care to know the situation they are in.

THERE IS NO WHY. THERE'S NO EXCUSE.

I'm sorry, fifty years is not fair trade for beating your little boy to death. As for the witnesses that reported how you would make him get on his knees while you punched him over and over again with your daddy fists? If they were not charged I sincerely hope it is because they were incapacitated somehow and couldn't defend your 6 year old son. Could this little boy's death been prevented? The report I posted below says yes.It has become daunting situation. Read to bottom of page and you will find an article of much interest on this topic. 

This full story I do not want to pursue. Life for life. This was no accident. You are a monster. Would I give you mercy? Probably not. Just saying, but my heavenly Father offers it to all. Do I believe in the penalty of death? I do. The chances are slim that your life will ever serve any good purpose, but who knows, maybe someone besides me prays for you, and who knows, maybe a hard heart like yours will take those 50 years imprisonment for a Holy God to get through to you. Does a righteous God care about your soul? I know He does. He doesn't want anyone to perish and takes no delight in the demise of the wicked.

  I keep this picture just to my right and I am reminded. I know it is only a depiction of Jesus the good shepherd, but there is a very real presence that comforts me with the assurance that God's little lambs are safe in His arms far from all assault. 

--I complete my job, remove the victims name, check 'no' for victim impact statement. Your son cannot speak for himself, and no one spoke for him.

I used to ask why. Why would a person do something like this, but I no longer have a why. There is no why. There is no excuse.

Someone suggested that the little killdee I told you about on Wednesdays post is possibly not trapped at all, but comes and goes at will. Could be it is enjoying the cool temp of the building. Things aren't always as they seem. Oh and by the way I found out the proper name that most no one uses is actually killdeer. Looks more like it should be called killdee in my opinion.

Where is the value of the child's loss of self considered in this?  The subject is clearly not serving time for this offense. What a nice judge. Really? Grrr.

...the Things People Do To Each Other

Well, according to the whistling wizard on my phone this morning it is time to get out the door. I have recovered from work yesterday and will do it again today. I noticed that by 10 AM break the exuberance of a rested weekend had left us as things grew too quiet among my friends. Even our chirping little kildee that is trapped in the building sounded forlorn. Although it was funny when one of the new girls came to me and ask "What IS that?  Poor little bird. He may be dying a slow death.

I do look forward to the banter of my friends at work. We try not to lose our sense of humor. It is a good job except for subject matter we deal with.

Dirty Jobs...

Usually my feet hit the floor and with lightning  speed I cloth my body, dress my hair, grab my lunch and my skillfully made wet mocha cappuccino!  With the care of someone who has dumped coffee on her blouse due to misalignment of tread I screw the lid on. I am out the door and travel about 5 miles to enter through a security gate. We are a gated community. As I pull in through the only way in or out the white buses of offenders clothed in white standard dress from area prisons turns in as well. They too are coming to work. The association of these buses to public school buses is eerie. Same bus, different color.

 I am ready or not for the task at hand. Work. But not just your normal kind of employment. When I turn on my computer and after I put in no less than 3 different passwords, I enter into the world of the Texas Prison System. 

It has been quite an eye opener to witness the world of offense as I have served in a specialized department with at times 60 to now less than 30 other employees. With various duties we deal with the files of every offender that is in the vast Texas prison system.  We are careful to check and double check, and then check again to ensure the record is correct. It is referred to as PATED. Pay Attention To Every Detail.

My eyes scan across the screen at a name, a number and a face and then I click on the prompt and the sordid details unfold. I glance over at my coffee, secure in its metal fortress. My knight in shining armor. I know it is hot and waiting for me while I with my smaller group  proof, correct, an edit for final copy the bad report.

I glance in the mirror at the front of my desk set strategically to know when anyone approaches from behind, plain clothes or white standard dress as the porters make their rounds. There is no makeup on my face, I'm here and have had not so much as a sip of that carefully prepared mocha cappuccino. It is about to get real for the crimes have been perpetrated and I promise you it is worse than you or I could ever have imagined.

What offenders do (a softened term for criminals) is where hate lives embodied in beings we speak of as human. They walk about among us and look like your brother or your sister, your mom or dad and society hasn't a clue what danger lurks at noon day. It is about to get real. I have left the free world and entered the cirque macabre.

This behavior of human species is as old as the word. Even older. We just haven't realized, We have begun to scratch the surface due to world wide media coverage of the morose. We question, "What is the answer?"

I focus on the computer screen for perfection but, I will not find a balanced reality. Instead I find murder before eyelashes and coffee. And even though I had a restful 3 day week-end and woke this Tuesday morning fresh and ready to get back to work. I wonder how 5 o'clock will find me?
